Prinoth Husky

The compact all-round machine

The Husky has the strength and agility of a Siberian sled dog. It is equally suited to cross-country trail laying with tracks or skating trails, or grooming smaller pistes, practice slopes, lift tracks and toboggan runs. With the spacious rear deck and highly convenient low loading height, the Husky is also the ideal choice for transporting loads in off-road terrain, even where there is little snow cover – thanks to its all-season tracks. Another application for this flexible machine is passenger transportation – with a rear passenger cab that seats 14 persons and has its own auxiliary heating system. Apart from being a true all-rounder, the Husky offers a comfortable ride and working environment, exceptional maneuverability and convincing economics. All that makes the Husky best in class – and the leader of the team!

Engine

The 130 kW (177 hp) direct-injection diesel engine from Mercedes is designed for maximum efficiency, outstanding reliability, low-noise operation and excellent cold starting characteristics with the START-PLUS system. The engine is very economical on fuel (8.5 l on average) and offers good accessibility for easier servicing. The engine is also environmentally friendly, with minimum pollutant emissions and hydraulics that can be operated with biodegrable hydraulic fluids. The Husky is in full compliance with the Euromot IIIA exhaust standard.

Cabin and Lights

Safety and comfort were the focus of the design brief for the spacious cab. It is a sturdy light metal structure with ROPS certification and excellent noise insulation. The inside of the cab is both attractive and functional with an excellent standard of ergonomics. The steering wheel has integrated controls for tiller operation and for the track-setter unit.

Four double parabolic metal-halide headlights plus powerful rear working lights provide perfect illumination for the whole working area.

Attachments and Optionals

The tiller with two independent tracksetters has a swiveling articulated arm that keeps things right on track in the tightest curves.

With the 12-way blade, the Husky is equally at home on standard plowing operations and special jobs.
The rear passenger cabin with its auxiliary heating system can be used to transport up to 14 persons.
With its innovative all-season tracks, the Husky is ideal for travel under difficult and changing conditions. Whether off-road, on rock or grass, through slush or mud, the all-season tracks keep the Husky moving safely on all terrain in summer and in winter – and they are also kind to the soil.
