A class of its own

A groomer that packs a punch – for a unique grooming capacity of over 100,000 square meters per hour. The Leitwolf combines ultra-modern Pininfarina looks with intelligent groomer technology to produce an innovative high-performance machine – for a comfortable ride, a sports car sense of maneuverability, an unbeatable power/weight ratio, and relaxed starting in the harshest conditions. Plus an intelligent array of optionals and equipment for a new dimension in grooming.

Engine and Electronics

A 320 KW (435 PS) MAN diesel engine combining bullish power with low fuel consumption (20l/h) offers outstanding results in terms of fuel economy, exhaust gases and noise. The low-noise direct-injection engine is in full compliance with the Euromot IIIA pollutant emissions standard and is a willing starter at all altitudes. All engine functions are controlled by a single electronic unit with greatly enhanced computing power. The various controls, gauges and indicators have been reduced to one central color display and one combined controller. Otherwise a keyboard handles the basic commands, plus a joystick for user-friendly operation of the blade and tiller. A safety system with redundant electronics and an overriding fault monitoring system guarantee the highest possible standard of safety. A black box and an extended fault diagnosis program for the travel and on-board electronics make light work of maintenance.

Cabine and Lights

The ROPS-certified cab is designed for safe working and a pleasant ride at all times. The sound-insulated tilt cab is an extremely light tubular space frame design capable of withstanding the highest loads. It offers all-round glazing for optimum vision in every situation, plus heated wiper blades for the front windshield, tinted and heated glazing for the front windshield and the side and rear windows, and electrically adjustable and heated outside rear view mirrors. A comfortable working environment is guaranteed with such standard items as a hot-water air heater, automatic temperature controls, and a newly developed and highly ergonomic RECARO central driving seat with a four-point seat belt that ensures the driver is still sitting comfortably at the end of a long shift, plus a charging unit for mobiles, a cigarette lighter, a radio and CD player with stereo speakers, a bottle holder, and a holder with the cabling in place for a walkie-talkie and antenna.

The two dipping headlights, two anti-dazzle xenon working lights, plus eight additional working lights ensure that the driver can see and be seen at all times of the day and night.
