SmartReader

The SmartReader creates a universal, low-cost and robust “air interface” between the RFID-SmartCard and computer systems. The SmartReader contains all the components for reading and coding SmartCards in a stable, die-cast aluminium housing.

A special operating system ensures that the user can access all common chip types using the same commands. The Axess multiapplication firmware is integrated.

• Integrated mid-range antenna, range of up to 2,5 in.
• Backlighted LC display, red/green LED signal light audible signal, microcontroller with real-time clock and flash data storage
• RS 232 or optional LAN interface, special versions with Omron or Wiegand interface
• Reads ISO 15693 & ISO 14443 transponders
• Firmware for Blacklist/Whitelist identification, SmartAccess coding or online check

Tubemount

• Installation on 2,36 in. tube for applications in public transport systems

Wallmount

• Version for wall mounting for door lockers (switchbox for coded control of door closers)

Desktop

• Desktop device with RS232 interface for read/coding stations
