SmartCard Collector

Ski resorts, which mainly use contactless RF chip cards for their guests, the chip cards hold a value which can be used for different arrangements, e.g. for lift rides. At the end of the day the customer wants the salvage value of his card get payed back.

The SmartCard Collector is a convenient device to take back used chip cards and so relieve the cashier of this function, or enable to give back a chip card after the cash desk was closed.

The Smart Card Collector uses a lighted display with one pre-set language and three additional languages, which can be selected by push buttons. The retaining magazine holds up to 800 cards. The housing of the device is made in powder coated stainless steel and a the door, opening to the front is protected by a multiplex closing device. The change can be taken out of the change drawer.

Every chip card is checked for functionality, validity and salvage value when it is inserted in the SmartCard Collector. Defect chip cards or chip cards belonging to different ski resorts are denied. Chip cards without any salvage value are kept back.
